Split an image into an Instagram carousel
A wide image becomes several slides that line up as people swipe.
That carousel where the picture continues from one slide to the next is just a wide image cut into equal parts. Drop the image, choose how many slides you want (2 to 10) and the format — 4:5 (1080×1350), 1:1 (1080×1080) or 9:16 — and download every slide numbered in a ZIP.
The number of slices is suggested from your image proportions, so the cut comes out even. You choose between filling the slide (cropping the edges) or fitting the whole image with a background color. Post them in number order (01, 02, 03...) and the seam is invisible.

Frequently asked questions
What image size should I start from?
A wide image at least 1350 px tall. For 3 slides in 4:5, something close to 3240×1350 px is ideal — but the tool adapts to any size.
In what order do I post them?
In the file number order: 01, 02, 03... On Instagram, select the photos in that same sequence so the carousel flows.
Can I use it for stories or Reels?
Yes, by choosing the 9:16 format. Each slice comes out at 1080×1920 px.
Is the image uploaded to a server?
No. The slicing happens in your browser and the ZIP is built on your device.
