Will it look like a photo taken in high resolution?
Upscaling recovers sharpness and smooths jagged edges, but it cannot invent detail that is not in the original photo. For most uses (printing, covers, marketplaces) the result is excellent.
What is the size limit?
The longest side of the final image is capped at 8192 px for safety — above that the browser may run out of memory.
PNG or JPEG output?
PNG preserves maximum quality; JPEG produces a much smaller file. For printing, prefer PNG.
